Staff Pharmacist in Cincinnati, OH

A hospital is seeking a qualified pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care during night shifts in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity begins June 1 and extends for 13-plus weeks, offering a consistent 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule (Thursday night through Wednesday night, 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

Location: Lancaster, OH

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Shift: 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Thursday through Wednesday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness.
• Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients, healthcare providers, and families.
• Participate in medication management during medical emergencies.
• Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to ensure efficient department operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
