A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support retail/community pharmacy operations in Cisco, UT. This role requires a licensed pharmacist ready to engage in comprehensive pharmacy services, including medication dispensing, patient care, inventory management, and community outreach. The position offers a full-time schedule with critical holiday coverage, making flexibility and reliability essential.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Variable retail pharmacy hours: Monday–Saturday (9:30 AM–8:30 PM), Sunday (2:30 PM–7:30 PM)
  • Required holiday coverage:
    • Thanksgiving (11/26/2025 – 11/30/2025)
    • Christmas (12/23/2025 – 12/28/2025)
    • New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day (12/31/2025 – 1/2/2026)
  • Specific holiday hours vary but ensure presence during critical pharmacy operation periods

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulations
  • Manage medication inventory, conduct audits, and coordinate with suppliers to optimize stock levels
  • Administer prescriptions accurately, perform medication reviews, and maintain patient records securely
  • Provide immunizations and personalized patient consultations regarding medication use and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapy and patient outcomes
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students as appropriate
  • Represent the pharmacy in community engagement and educational events

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited pharmacy school
  • Current, full, and unrestricted pharmacist license in Utah, including controlled substance dispensing rights
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent and team-based work
  • Willingness to understand financial aspects of pharmacy operations

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum three years in retail pharmacy
  • APhA Immunization Certification
  • Previous pharmacy management experience
