A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to fulfill the role of Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) starting immediately. This role offers a valuable opportunity to provide direct pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting while overseeing the pharmacy operations.

Position Details:

• Location: Citrus Heights, CA
• Job Type: Contract, 13 weeks with potential for contract-to-hire
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts with shared on-call duties after hours alongside PRN pharmacists

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the working Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), responsible for managing pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a 50-bed rehab hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Participate in on-call rotation with other pharmacists for after-hours support.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
