Staff Pharmacist - Clementon, New Jersey

This opportunity is for a Mid Shift Staff Pharmacist role in a closed-door long-term care facility. The position requires managing medication processes efficiently during a busy shift, from initial review to final checks, while supervising pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
• Rotating every third weekend
• Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, either 11:00 am – 9:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday shift required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial medication review using Frameworks software (training provided)
• Conduct final medication checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage a high prescription volume of approximately 600 per day

Qualifications:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in high-volume settings
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain speed without sacrificing accuracy
• Comfortable supervising and coordinating with pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems or willingness to learn Frameworks
