Staff Pharmacist in Clementon, NJ

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to work in a closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) facility, providing essential pharmaceutical services during the evening shift. The position requires overseeing medication dispensing and technician activities within a high-volume environment, utilizing specialized software with on-the-job training provided.

Location: Clementon, NJ
Shift Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
• Rotating every 3rd weekend
• Weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm OR 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Minimum of 1 summer and 1 winter holiday required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and final medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training available)
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency
• Manage a daily prescription volume of approximately 600

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Proven ability to work effectively and quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems
