Staff Pharmacist - Clementon, NJ

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to work in a closed-door, long-term care facility operating under a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The position focuses on the evening shift, providing comprehensive pharmacy services while overseeing medication dispensing and technician activities.

Location: Clementon, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• Weekend shifts alternate between 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• A minimum of one summer and one winter holiday shift required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial medication reviews through the Frameworks software system (training provided)
• Perform final medication checks and approvals before dispensing
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and safety
• Manage dispensing of approximately 600 prescriptions daily
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active, clear NJ Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Previous pharmacy experience, especially within high-volume or long-term care settings
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under time-sensitive conditions
• Comfortable adapting to a technology platform with training support
