Retail Pharmacist in Clovis, CA

This contract position supports a healthcare facility serving a diverse patient population, with a focus on delivering quality pharmacy care and medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions according to legal and professional standards
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Maintain complete and precise records of all pharmacy transactions
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, state, and federal regulations
• Manage inventory and coordinate restocking to meet prescription demands
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in CA or eligible to transfer license
• Proven experience as a retail staff pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy operations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Contract Type:

• Temporary maternity leave coverage
• Approximately 13 weeks beginning the last week in August, with potential for extension
