Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting with a supportive, service-focused team. This opportunity involves a contract-to-hire position with an initial 13-week full-time assignment, transitioning to part-time hours. The position offers hands-on experience verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and supervising pharmacy technicians.
Location: Rathdrum, ID
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts allow for a Thursday or Friday off)
Shift: 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
- Deliver excellent customer service, working collaboratively within a team of 3 technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
- Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system to manage prescription volume of 300–400 per day
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
- Proven pharmacy experience, ideally in retail
- Updated resume, completed skills checklist, and strong references
