Retail Staff Pharmacist – Day Shift | Rathdrum, ID

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist on a contract-to-hire basis in Rathdrum, ID. This position offers a steady day shift schedule with a supportive team environment, serving a high-volume pharmacy averaging 300 to 400 prescriptions daily.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (if working Saturday, either Thursday or Friday off)
• Full-time through February 24, then transitioning to 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Emphasize excellent customer service and collaborate effectively within the team

Team Environment:

• Work alongside 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system to manage daily operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid, active pharmacist license in Idaho
• Pharmacy experience in a retail setting is required
• Ability to provide strong patient care and communication skills
• Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references
