Staff Pharmacist | Collierville, Tennessee

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team with a contract-to-hire opportunity in Collierville, TN. This role offers the chance to work in a low-volume, high-impact setting focused on complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmaceutical care, managing therapies like factor replacement, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on drug administration, side effects, adherence, and safe medication handling.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assist with benefits navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to secure prior authorizations and identify financial assistance.
• Utilize software systems such as CareTend (training available).

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Tennessee (license required).
• Experience with CareTend software is a strong plus; training offered for the right candidate.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is a benefit.
• Strong communication skills and clinical knowledge in specialty pharmacy practices.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
