Staff Pharmacist | Collierville, Tennessee

A Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist with strong work ethic and a passion for patient care to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This opportunity offers a clear growth path, with the potential to become a partial owner of the company in the future.

Located in Collierville, TN, this role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care for patients managing complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. The pharmacy operates with a very low volume, allowing for thorough and personalized patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical management for patients receiving infused therapies, including factor replacement, emicizumab, and other novel agents.
• Educate patients and their families on drug administration techniques, side effect management, and adherence strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• Work closely with reimbursement specialists to handle insurance challenges, prior authorizations, and access to financial assistance programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License required; willingness to obtain licenses in other states is a plus.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy software highly preferred; training is available for qualified candidates.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient empowerment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
