Staff Pharmacist | Collierville, Tennessee

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team under a Contract to Hire arrangement, with an ideal start date as soon as possible. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical patient management for individuals with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
• Manage therapy-specific nuances, including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and a variety of subcutaneous and IV infusion treatments.
• Educate patients and their families on complex drug administration, managing side effects, adherence strategies, and safe medication handling in home settings.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and internal care coordinators to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist reimbursement specialists in navigating insurance plans, securing prior authorizations, and identifying financial assistance programs.
• Utilize CareTend software for pharmacy operations; training provided if unfamiliar.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License required.
• Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to pursue licensure in additional states is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
• Ability to thrive in a low-volume, specialty pharmacy environment.
