An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven pharmacist interested in growing within a specialty pharmacy environment. This role is ideal for newer graduates or pharmacists eager to develop their clinical expertise and advance toward a possible partial ownership position in the organization. Located in the Collierville, TN area, this contract-to-hire position allows you to engage in focused patient care with a low volume of prescriptions, enabling personalized attention to each patient’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
  • Manage specialized therapies including factor replacement treatments, emicizumab, and various novel subcutaneous and IV infusions.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on drug administration techniques, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe handling at home.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Work closely with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, secure prior authorizations, and access financial assistance programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License is required.
  • Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; training can be provided.
  • Open to obtaining licensure in additional states.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a desire to grow professionally within the pharmacy sector.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
