Staff Pharmacist in Concord, NC

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage during a 4-6 week leave of absence for the current Pharmacist-in-Charge. This role supports a community health clinic serving an underserved patient population, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and responsibly within the FQHC/340B setting
• Collaborate closely with one pharmacy technician in a small team environment
• Provide counseling and clinical support tailored to an underserved patient base
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy system for daily operations
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
• 1-3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably in an FQHC or community health setting
• Comfortable working independently and in a small pharmacy team
• Experience serving underserved populations preferred
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus; pharmacy technician is Spanish-speaking, enhancing team communication

Contract Type:

• Contract position expected to start within one month
• Initial assignment approximately 4-6 weeks with potential for adjustment
• Per diem availability is also sought for pharmacists and technicians
