A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Concord, NC is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide expert coverage during a planned leave of absence. This contract opportunity offers a meaningful chance to serve an underserved patient population within a community health clinic environment, utilizing 340B program knowledge and patient-centered care principles.

Location:

  • Concord, NC (Charlotte metropolitan area)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-in-Charge during the incumbent’s 4-6 week leave, with potential for extension
  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care tailored to an underserved patient demographic
  • Work collaboratively within a small team consisting typically of 1 Pharmacist and 1 Technician
  • Utilize PioneerRx system for medication dispensing and record management
  • Maintain compliance with FQHC and 340B program protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and active North Carolina pharmacist license
  • 1 to 3 years of pharmacy practice experience
  • Prior experience or strong familiarity with FQHCs or similar community health settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable and confident working independently in a small team environment
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred to improve communication, alongside a Spanish-speaking technician on staff
