Staff Pharmacist in Coraopolis, PA

A part-time role is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting, offering 20-24 hours per week with additional coverage during vacation periods. This position is based in the Pittsburgh area and works within established pharmacy hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday and Sunday closed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense approximately 300 prescriptions daily while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent patient counseling during peak hours, particularly between 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain efficient workflow and superior customer service.
• Utilize the Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Assist with inventory control and quality assurance activities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Proficiency with the Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during peak pharmacy hours.

Schedule:

• 20-24 hours per week, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Provide coverage during team members' vacation times.
