Staff Pharmacist - Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking a part-time staff pharmacist to join their team, working 20-24 hours per week with additional coverage during vacation periods. This opportunity offers an engaging work environment in a well-established pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Manage and oversee daily pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Handle approximately 300 prescriptions daily using the Pioneer Rx system
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with the Pioneer Rx pharmacy system preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Location:

• Retail pharmacy located in the Pittsburgh area

Schedule/Hours:

• 20-24 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Pharmacy operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; closed on weekends
• Busiest times are between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
