Provide expert pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in a dynamic setting focused on patient care and medication accuracy. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Pennsylvania pharmacist license looking to contribute to patient safety and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone, addressing inquiries about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication usage
  • Collaborate effectively with prescribers and their offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues that may delay medication dispensing
  • Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, identify drug interactions, contraindications, and confirm dosing accuracy
  • Conduct pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions within a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy in drug selection, dosage, quantity, and labeling prior to dispensing
  • Support pharmacy management by assisting in receiving, processing, and transferring prescriptions, owning the success of these transfers from start to finish

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, clear, and active pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 0-6 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings
  • New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered equally
