Staff Pharmacist in Cordova, AK

Location: Cordova, AK
Assignment Duration: 7 weeks, starting June 1
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM)
• Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and timely at the retail pharmacy window
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and protocols

Qualifications:

• Active Alaska pharmacist license required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Minimum of two years of pharmacy experience preferred

Additional Details:

• Housing is provided and fully paid for by the medical center; conveniently located near the hospital
• No rental car reimbursement is offered due to proximity of housing to work
• Pets are not permitted in hospital-provided housing
