Staff Pharmacist - Cordova, TN

A specialty pharmacy in Cordova, TN is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis, with an ideal start date ASAP. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients managing hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
• Handle therapy-specific management including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Educate patients and families on drug administration, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe home handling.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist reimbursement specialists in navigating insurance plans, obtaining prior authorizations, and identifying financial assistance options.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License required.
• Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; training is available.
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to professional growth.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
