Staff Pharmacist in Cordova, TN

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  Position Type: Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with complex conditions including hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders requiring infused medications.
• Manage specialized therapies such as factor replacement, emicizumab, and other novel agents involving subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Educate patients and their families about medication administration, side effect management, adherence, and home safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist with benefits navigation by working with reimbursement specialists to secure prior authorizations and financial assistance when needed.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License required; willingness to obtain additional state licenses is encouraged.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is highly preferred; training is available for the right candidate.
• A driven and ethical work approach, eager to develop skills and take on increasing responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
