Mail Order Staff Pharmacist in Covington, KY

Location: Covington, KY
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

• Weekend shifts: Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekday shifts as needed between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including medication verification and accuracy checks
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and safety protocols in a high-volume environment
• Collaborate effectively with team members to manage workflow and meet prescription demands

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license is required; pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH are encouraged to check eligibility for KY license
• Strong background in high-volume retail pharmacy environments preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing workflow and prescription volume
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative setting
