Mail Order Staff Pharmacist | Covington, Kentucky

A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support a rapidly growing mail order pharmacy experiencing a significant volume increase due to a new client partnership. This role is based in Covington, KY, and requires a licensed pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment activities including accurate checking and verification of prescriptions.
• Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Dispense primarily generic medications, with some brand-name and specialty drugs.
• Adapt quickly to evolving workflows and high-volume demands.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in Kentucky is mandatory. Candidates licensed in Cincinnati, OH should verify KY licensure.
• Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
