Staff Pharmacist in Covington, KY

A contract pharmacist opportunity is available to support a growing digital/mail order pharmacy experiencing increased volume due to a new client onboarding. The pharmacy dispenses primarily generic medications, along with some brand and specialty drugs, serving patients across all 50 states plus Washington, DC.

This role requires a licensed pharmacist in Kentucky. Candidates licensed in Cincinnati, OH, are encouraged to confirm KY licensure eligibility. The ideal pharmacist will have experience in high-volume retail settings and be comfortable adapting quickly to a fast-paced workflow.

Location: Covington, KY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Key responsibilities include:

• Full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment
• Checking and verifying prescriptions accurately
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Collaborating closely with the team to manage high volume efficiently

Preferred qualifications and attributes:

• Active Kentucky pharmacy license
