A per diem opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support retail and long-term care pharmacy settings. This role requires a focused professional who can efficiently manage a high volume of prescriptions while providing immunization services within a supportive team environment.
Schedule:
- May 9: 7:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- May 10: 12:45 PM – 6:15 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense 150-200 prescriptions daily with accuracy and attention to detail
- Administer immunizations in accordance with pharmacy protocols
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and register personnel to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Texas Pharmacist license
- Current immunization certification
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with Computer Rx system or similar pharmacy software is beneficial
Work Environment:
- Combination of retail pharmacy and long-term care pharmacy operations
- Ample support from a team of technicians and cashiers, allowing focus on clinical tasks
