Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Decatur, Georgia

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available supporting a group of four independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area, beginning in Decatur, GA. This per diem position offers the potential to grow into a part-time floater role covering up to 30-35 hours per week across the family of pharmacies, providing diverse and engaging responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform primary retail pharmacist duties including prescription processing and patient counseling
• Manage daily volume of 100-150 prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Handle specialty medications including packaging for mail and courier delivery
• Float between multiple pharmacy locations, providing consistent patient care and support
• Utilize PrimeRX pharmacy software (experience preferred) for dispensing and inventory management
• Interact effectively with a diverse patient population, addressing questions and providing knowledgeable support

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, ideally PrimeRX
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt across multiple pharmacy settings
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality patient care
• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice pharmacy

Schedule/Hours:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts
• Per diem availability with potential growth to part-time floater role
