Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Decatur, GA

A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a PRN/part-time pharmacist to provide support and coverage. This role starts by covering one location with the potential to expand into a floater position, supporting multiple pharmacies within the family of four stores.

Location: Decatur, GA
Job Type: Per Diem with potential to grow to part-time (approx. 30-35 hours weekly)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage primary retail pharmacy operations and workflow
• Dispense an average of 100-150 prescriptions daily
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy support
• Utilize PrimeRX software (preferred experience) for prescription processing and inventory management
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations across multiple locations as the role expands
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in the state
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Familiarity with PrimeRX software is a strong advantage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to cover multiple locations when expanded into a floater role
