Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Decatur, Georgia

A well-established family of four independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a Per Diem position based in Decatur, GA, with the opportunity to grow into a part-time floater role. This role offers the chance to support multiple pharmacy locations while delivering exceptional retail pharmacy care.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and verifying prescriptions accurately, with a daily volume of 100-150 prescriptions
• Providing counsel and support to patients on medication usage and safety
• Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Utilizing PrimeRX software to process prescriptions efficiently (preferred experience)

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacist license in Georgia
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency or familiarity with PrimeRX pharmacy software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule/Hours:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Per Diem initially, with potential to increase to 30-35 hours weekly as a floater covering all four pharmacies
