Schedule/Hours:

• 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Term:

• Assignment begins April 1
• Per Diem basis

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
• Provide thorough patient counseling to educate and support medication adherence
• Utilize the Pioneer RX program system for prescription processing and inventory management
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State Pharmacist License is required
• Experience in specialty or retail pharmacy settings, particularly with special packaging for nursing homes, is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, specifically Pioneer RX, is a plus
