Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Decatur, Illinois

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist experienced in specialty and retail pharmacy settings, particularly those with exposure to nursing home packaging. Location: Decatur, IL
Schedule:

• 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Manage specialized packaging for nursing home residents
• Utilize the Pioneer RX system for pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois State Pharmacist License
• Experience in retail and specialty pharmacy settings, especially with nursing home packaging
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Proficiency in using pharmacy program systems, preferably Pioneer RX
