A specialty pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role offers a unique blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment for an experienced pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both retail and long-term care settings
  • Provide medication therapy management (MTM) services to patients
  • Offer immunizations in accordance with state regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and standards
  • Assist with rotating weekend shifts as needed

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Possible rotating weekends to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Minnesota pharmacist license in good standing
  • Immunization certification and CPR certification required
  • PharmD degree preferred
  • Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
  • MTM certification is beneficial
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
