Staff Pharmacist | Deer River, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MN, is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role offers a unique mix of retail and long-term care pharmacy responsibilities, providing a dynamic and rewarding professional experience.

Location:
Grand Rapids, MN (2410 S Pokegama Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Possible rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage both retail and long-term care pharmacy operations
• Ensure accuracy and safety in dispensing medications
• Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in immunization administration and other clinical services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Minnesota pharmacist license
• Immunization certification required
• CPR certification required
• PharmD degree or MTM certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
