Staff Pharmacist - Deforest, Wisconsin

This opportunity is for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment in Deforest, WI. The role offers a 13-week contract with potential for extensions, ideal for pharmacy professionals seeking a focused, daytime schedule with consistency and a challenging environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with company policies and state regulations
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize Pioneer RX computer system effectively for prescription management and documentation
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment for staff and customers

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Wisconsin Pharmacy License
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workflow efficiently during busy hours
