Staff Pharmacist in Delphi, IN

An opportunity is available for an experienced outpatient pharmacist to take on a key professional role in Delphi, IN. This direct hire position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a consistent weekday routine with evenings and weekends off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter, interpret, and review prescriptions while performing drug utilization reviews.
• Address prescriber inquiries and resolve any prescription-related issues.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications meeting regulatory standards.
• Supervise both professional pharmacists and support staff to ensure quality service.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage prescription filling, including pharmaceutical preparations and devices.
• Submit claims for third-party reimbursement in an accurate and timely manner.
• Consult with healthcare providers such as physicians and nurses to clarify pharmaceutical matters.
• Respond to pharmaceutical questions from patients and healthcare personnel.
• Monitor the proper storage, distribution, and usage of pharmaceuticals.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three years of pharmacy experience in a relevant setting.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
• Clean criminal record without any felonies.

This direct hire opportunity features a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience.
