This direct hire opportunity is for an Outpatient Pharmacist role based in Delphi, IN, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM. The position requires a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in outpatient pharmacy services, ready to take on a vital role in prescription management and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant pharmacy experience.
  • Active, unrestricted registered pharmacist license in Indiana.
  • Clean criminal record with no felonies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, interpret, and review prescriptions, ensuring proper drug utilization and resolving issues related to prescriptions.
  • Compound and dispense medications in accordance with prescribed instructions.
  • Supervise professional and support staff to maintain operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to all pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
  • Manage prescription fills for pharmaceutical products and devices.
  • Submit claims for third-party reimbursement accurately and promptly.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals including physicians and nurses regarding medication-related questions.
  • Address pharmaceutical inquiries from patients and other personnel.
  • Monitor the storage, distribution, and use of all pharmaceuticals to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
