Staff Pharmacist in Denver, CO

This opportunity is designed for a licensed pharmacist ready to take on a dynamic inpatient role across two hospital locations in the Denver area. The position begins immediately on a 13-week contract and offers a day shift schedule that balances weekday and weekend hours.

Schedule:

• 36 to 40 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts on weekdays
• 6-hour shifts on weekends
• Floating assignment between two sites: approximately 3 days per week at one facility and 1-2 days per week at another, with flexibility as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance
• Manage pharmacokinetic evaluations and dose adjustments
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide drug information and optimize patient care
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, with demonstrated hospital pharmacy expertise
• Strong understanding of inpatient medication management
• Effective communication and leadership skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to adapt to a floating schedule between multiple sites
