Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Denver, CO

Provide professional pharmacy care as the sole pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting affiliated with a hospital. This per diem opportunity offers coverage from August 24th to August 28th, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break.

Location: Haxtun, Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medications, usage, and potential side effects
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Perform final verifications to ensure safety and accuracy
• Manage all pharmacy operations independently, treating the pharmacy as your own
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license, clear of any restrictions
• Recent experience as a practicing pharmacist
• New graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply
• Confidence in managing a pharmacy autonomously, as this position requires independent operation

Team Environment:

• Supported by two full-time pharmacy technicians
• Limited additional pharmacist presence, requiring strong self-reliance

Housing:

• Onsite hospital housing may be available (subject to availability)
