Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Derby, KS

Seeking experienced pharmacists to join a per diem retail pharmacy team in the Wichita, KS area. This role offers an opportunity to provide excellent pharmaceutical care with manageable prescription volumes and strong technician support, helping maintain high-quality service for the community.

Location:

• Wichita, KS (near Derby, KS)

Schedule/Hours:

• Coverage needed on select shifts, including:
  • Wednesday, 5/27: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday, 5/28: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Shifts occur on a semi-regular basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications in a retail setting
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate closely with technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Utilize Rx30 software to manage prescriptions and inventory efficiently

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas Pharmacist license with no disciplinary actions
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficient with pharmacy management software; Rx30 experience highly desired
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
