Retail Staff Pharmacist in Dover, PA

This opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacist position based in York, PA, within a retail setting at a well-established market chain. The role offers a direct hire engagement and is scheduled to begin as soon as possible.

• York, Pennsylvania

Schedule/Hours:

• Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM
• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Days/Afternoons
• Total bi-weekly hours: 62

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to monitor and control inventory, tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profits.
• Accurately weigh, measure, blend medications and compounds, and fill prescriptions with the correct quantities and formulations. Provide guidance to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare providers and insurance professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, manage scheduling, oversee pharmacy associates’ performance, handle disciplinary actions, and assign tasks to maximize team efficiency and achieve company objectives.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Pennsylvania Immunization License preferred
