A healthcare facility in Altoona, PA is seeking a qualified pharmacist to support their specialty pharmacy services on a per diem basis. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with the opportunity to provide impactful patient care by ensuring accurate medication dispensing and delivering exceptional customer service.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8.5 hours per day)
- Total of 42.5 hours for the week
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately in compliance with medical orders and regulations
- Provide detailed information to patients and caregivers about proper medication use and potential side effects
