Retail Staff Pharmacist - Eagle Grove, IA

A specialty pharmacy in Webster City, IA is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a 13+ week contract role. This position combines long-term care and retail pharmacy responsibilities, providing a dynamic and varied work environment for an experienced professional.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely in both long-term care and retail settings
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies
• Support specialty pharmacy services as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license or temporary Iowa license
• Immunization certification preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience in retail pharmacy and long-term care settings
