This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist with experience in retail and specialty pharmacy settings. The role involves supporting long-term care pharmacy needs at a well-established facility located in Waseca, MN. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review medication orders specific to long-term care patients
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management (MTM)
- Administer immunizations as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Participate in weekend shifts on a rotating basis
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials
- PharmD preferred or equivalent pharmacy degree
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification preferred
- Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy environments
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Some weekend shifts required
- 24-40 hours per week
