Retail Staff Pharmacist - Eagle Lake, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy in Waseca, MN is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert pharmacy services in a long-term care setting, supporting patient health and medication management.

Location:

• Waseca, MN

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekend shifts required
• 24-40 hours per week, flexible up to 40 hours as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive Pharmacist duties focused on long-term care
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide patient counseling and education as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and records

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail and specialty pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
