A skilled Staff Pharmacist position is available in East Saint Louis, IL, offering a contract role supporting pharmacy operations with flexibility and focused responsibilities. Schedule:

• 24-30 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, on-call from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (compensated at $8/hour on call)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Ensure all pharmacy orders comply with safety and regulatory standards
• Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related inquiries
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth, efficient operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacy License is mandatory
• PharmD degree preferred
• Prior experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system preferred
