Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Ebensburg, PA

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their Altoona, PA location on a per diem basis. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications, providing expert guidance on medication use, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, October 5-9, 2026
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8.5 hours per day)
• Total of 42.5 hours for the week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and healthcare staff about proper medication usage and potential side effects
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional communication
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacy License in Pennsylvania
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy practice preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a specialty pharmacy setting
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
