Retail Staff Pharmacist | Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to support their Elizabethtown, PA location. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role in a fast-paced setting with a schedule designed for days and afternoons to best serve the community.

Schedule:

• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Total weekly hours: Approximately 62

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs and compounds; provide advice to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications.
• Regularly administer patient immunizations.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, manage scheduling, performance recognition, discipline, and work assignments to maintain operational efficiency and meet profit goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License is required.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License preferred.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with health and insurance professionals.
