Staff Pharmacist - Elk Grove, CA

A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a contract position starting immediately. Location:

• Elk Grove, CA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts
• On-call responsibilities shared with PRN pharmacists

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the working Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), overseeing pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Manage medication dispensing and distribution within the hospital
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Support on-call pharmacy duties as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in rehab or inpatient care
• Proven ability or willingness to assume Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Contract Details:

• 13-week assignment with potential to convert to a permanent role
