Two Clinical Pharmacist Opportunities – Pediatric Inpatient Setting

A hospital recognized as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is seeking two experienced clinical pharmacists to provide expert pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients. This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, highly specialized environment focused on improving medication outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and optimize medication use through consultative services and clinical expertise.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives within pharmacy practice to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Accurately process medication orders and prescriptions from authorized practitioners.
  • Provide guidance to physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on safe medication administration.
  • Ensure compliance with medication safety policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Participate actively in policy development and pharmacy operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy services.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in pediatrics required.
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medications commonly used in pediatric care.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively advise healthcare teams and patients.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards in medication management.

Schedule and Location:

  • Shifts primarily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.; final schedule to be discussed during the interview.
  • Position located in Ellendale, Tennessee.
