Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Endicott, New York

This opportunity seeks a dedicated pharmacist to support daily operations at a retail pharmacy located in Vestal, NY. This full-time position offers a structured schedule and the chance to contribute to patient care and inventory management within a well-established retail environment.

Location:

• Vestal, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM
• 36 hours bi-weekly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability.
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Provide guidance to patients regarding self-medication and maintain communication with healthcare and insurance professionals.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly.
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, manage scheduling, recognize performance, and assign work to pharmacy associates to maintain efficiency and meet business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Current, active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and exercise independent judgment.
