Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Endicott, NY

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a full-time floating pharmacist in Vestal, NY. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by managing inventory, dispensing medications, and providing patient care services including immunizations. Location: Vestal, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM
  Hours: 36 hours per week
  Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventories, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and optimize profits.
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications and non-prescription products.
• Provide advice to self-medicating patients and maintain open communication with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
• Administer patient immunizations regularly.
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, schedule and manage pharmacy associates, including assigning work, recognizing performance, and implementing disciplinary actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Current and valid New York State Pharmacist License.
