Pharmacist - Eunice, NM

A hospital with 60 beds is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an immediate start on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a consistent day-shift schedule of seven days on followed by seven days off, with 10-hour shifts running from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday through Tuesday rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Provide clinical consultation to physicians and nurses
• Assist with medication management and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems to support pharmacy services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is required
• Active New Mexico pharmacist license preferred; candidates willing to obtain a temporary license will be considered
• Strong familiarity with order verification processes and clinical pharmacy practice
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficient in using EPIC and Pyxis systems or similar technology
