A well-established 340B pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide crucial coverage during a maternity leave. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity is based in Evansville, Indiana, and offers a supportive work environment within a newly established pharmacy. The role requires an active, clear Indiana pharmacist license and a commitment to maintaining excellent patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform final medication reviews and checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide patient counseling and medication guidance as needed.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations.
  • Dispense medications according to prescriptions and regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active, clear Indiana Pharmacist license (required).
  • Experience in a 340B pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
  • Open to recent graduates eager to grow their pharmacy practice.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new systems; training on PioneerRX software provided.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • No holidays, no weekend shifts.

This is a 13-week contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role, where you will work three days per week on a schedule complementary to the pharmacist currently on leave. The role supports a focused patient population and offers the chance to be part of a growing pharmacy team.
