Staff Pharmacist - Evansville, Indiana

A healthcare facility is urgently seeking a full-time Pharmacist to provide coverage during a maternity leave, with an opportunity to transition to a permanent role. This position offers a unique chance to work in a newly established 340B pharmacy within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), contributing to vital community healthcare services.

Responsibilities include conducting final medication reviews and checks, dispensing medications safely and accurately, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and providing patient counseling as needed. The pharmacy utilizes PioneerRX software, and training will be provided to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

This role follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no holidays or weekends required, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, clear Indiana Pharmacist license (required)
• Experience in a 340B pharmacy setting is highly preferred

This is a 13-week contract to hire position starting immediately, ideally suited for candidates local to the area. Upon transition to permanent employment, the schedule adjusts to three days per week working opposite the pharmacist returning from leave.
