An immediate opening is available for a full-time Staff Pharmacist to support a growing 340B pharmacy during a maternity leave. This opportunity offers the chance to step into a vital role within a newly established pharmacy setting that serves an FQHC.
This position begins as a 13-week contract to hire with a start date as soon as possible. Upon transitioning to a permanent role, the pharmacist will work three days a week on alternating days with the pharmacist currently on leave, providing a balanced schedule without holiday or weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct final medication reviews and accuracy checks
- Provide patient counseling as needed
- Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Utilize PioneerRX software (training provided for those new to the system)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Indiana Pharmacist license required
- Experience with 340B pharmacy operations is highly preferred
- Open to new graduates with appropriate licensure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving pharmacy environment
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend or holiday shifts
