A specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Waseca, MN. This role involves supporting long-term care pharmacy operations with a focus on high-quality patient care and medication management.
Location:
- Waseca, MN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Some weekend hours required
- 24 to 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform long-term care pharmacist duties including medication dispensing and comprehensive medication reviews
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain accurate records
- Provide immunizations and patient counseling as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- PharmD degree preferred
- Immunization certification
- CPR certification
- MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification is a plus
- Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
