Staff Pharmacist in Fayetteville, NC

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated pharmacist with solid inpatient experience seeking to excel in a night shift role at a 300-bed regional medical center in North Carolina. Located in Lumberton—strategically placed between Charlotte and Wilmington and near Fayetteville—this position offers an engaging work environment within a respected healthcare facility.

Schedule & Location:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday cycle)
• Situated in Lumberton, NC, approximately 2 hours east of Charlotte

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily operations
• Consult closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring using EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Handle all pharmacy-related duties as the sole pharmacist on duty, demonstrating autonomy and leadership

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license required
• Strong inpatient pharmacy experience necessary to manage independently
• Proficient in EPIC and Pyxis technologies preferred
• Ability to work efficiently overnight while maintaining high attention to detail
