Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Fleming, Colorado

A per diem opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmacy coverage from August 24th through August 28th in a retail pharmacy associated with a hospital setting in Fleming, CO.

This role involves independently managing the pharmacy operations with a dedicated team of two full-time pharmacy technicians and minimal additional pharmacist presence. The pharmacy fills approximately 500 prescriptions weekly, offering a balanced volume to engage your clinical and dispensing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Conduct final verification of medications
• Manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy support staff

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Colorado pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome
• Comfortable working autonomously as the sole pharmacist on site

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break
