Mail Order Staff Pharmacist - Florence, Kentucky

A direct hire opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support a fast-growing digital/mail order pharmacy specializing in non-insurance medications. This role focuses on dispensing predominantly generic medications, with some brand and specialty drugs, serving customers nationwide. The organization processed over 200,000 prescriptions in September 2025 and is expanding rapidly with new accounts planned for 2026.

Location: Florence, KY

Schedule:

• Weekend shifts required:
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekday shifts as needed within Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment for mail order prescriptions
• Check and verify prescription accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Adapt quickly to high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with the team to meet volume demands and deadlines

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy license valid in Kentucky (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH encouraged to verify KY licensure)
• Experience in high-volume retail or similar fast-paced pharmacy environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
