Pharmacist in Florence, KY

A dynamic digital/mail order pharmacy is seeking a contract pharmacist to support a significant volume increase driven by a new client fulfillment partnership. This role involves dispensing primarily generic medications, along with some brand and specialty drugs, serving patients across all 50 states and DC.

Location: Florence, KY
Contract Duration: Approximately 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 2 PM to 10 PM

Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including medication verification and checking
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy
• Adapting quickly to high-volume processes and collaborating closely with the pharmacy team to meet demanding daily targets

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH are encouraged to verify dual licensure in KY)
• Proven background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and adaptability skills
