Staff Pharmacist in Florence, KY

A contract pharmacy professional is needed to support a growing digital/mail order pharmacy dealing with an increase in volume due to a new client fulfillment partnership. This role requires full-cycle dispensing and supervision within a fast-paced environment focused on non-insurance medications, primarily generics with some brand and specialty items. The pharmacy distributes nationwide to all 50 states plus DC.

Location: Florence, KY
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment duties including checking and verifying prescriptions
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Adapt quickly to workflow changes and high volume demands
• Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain productivity and quality

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with an active Kentucky pharmacy license (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH are encouraged to verify KY licensure)
• Proven experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment preferred, demonstrating ability to manage heavy prescription loads
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
