An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy 400-bed hospital in Folsom, CA. This contract assignment offers a dynamic inpatient setting with a focus on delivering efficient pharmaceutical care on the 2nd shift. If you have a California Pharmacy Technician license and experience in inpatient pharmacy operations, this role is an excellent match.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately in an inpatient hospital environment
  • Assist pharmacists in compounding IV medications and managing inventory
  • Support medication delivery and record-keeping in accordance with hospital policies
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe and effective medication use

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Prior experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician
  • IV preparation experience highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • 2nd shift positions available, with start times at 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM
  • 8-hour shifts to support hospital pharmacy operations

  • Assignment duration of at least 13 weeks
