This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a retail environment. Supported by multiple pharmacy technicians and utilizing Pioneer RX for order entry, you will manage an average daily prescription volume of 140-150 scripts. The role requires a strong background in retail pharmacy and a Wyoming pharmacy license.
Location:
- Fort Bridger, WY
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Position dates: July 13 – 25
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on prescriptions
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Utilize Pioneer RX system for order entry and prescription processing
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Manage daily prescription volume effectively and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Current Wyoming pharmacy license required
- Proven retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic retail environment
