A Community Hospital has an opening for a Retail Staff Pharmacist to support its newly acquired community pharmacy in Eastern Colorado. Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics
- Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and billing personnel
- Review and verify patient profiles for accuracy, including allergies, interactions, and therapy appropriateness
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and security of medications, including controlled substances
- Participate in 340B program operations, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related committees
- Support quality assurance initiatives and safe medication practices
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License (clear, no negative history)
- 1+ year of pharmacist experience
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- 340B experience preferred
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Wray, CO
- Supervisory experience preferred

Work Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Day Shift
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Compensation
- $132,000 – $175,000 annually (based on experience)
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- $5,000 relocation assistance
