A Community Hospital has an opening for a Retail Staff Pharmacist to support its newly acquired community pharmacy in Eastern Colorado. Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and billing personnel
  • Review and verify patient profiles for accuracy, including allergies, interactions, and therapy appropriateness
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain proper handling, storage, and security of medications, including controlled substances
  • Participate in 340B program operations, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related committees
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and safe medication practices

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Pharmacist License (clear, no negative history)
  • 1+ year of pharmacist experience
  • Retail pharmacy experience required
  • 340B experience preferred
  • Willingness to relocate or commute to Wray, CO
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday
  • Day Shift
  • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Compensation

  • $132,000 – $175,000 annually (based on experience)
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • $5,000 relocation assistance
